I became aware of fair trade products after reading an article about weavers in Afghanistan who were starving due to the war and lack of tourism. They had their baskets, but no one to buy them. I purchased 3 of them and was amazed at their craftsmanship and beauty--I asked, who else needs our help? I then found bolga baskets from Ghana. I adore that we can help people all over the world by purchasing their products under fair trade conditions. It allows us to vote with our dollars to slow down and possibly end poverty in all corners of the planet.

I have made jewelry since I was a teenager. Slowly, I have honed my craft until I am ready to launch it to the world. For years my jewelry was gifted to family and friends.
